Important information – calls and your rights

When you request a brochure or make an enquiry with us, we may give you a courtesy follow-up call to check you received the information and, if you wish, to arrange an introduction to an FCA-regulated financial adviser.

You are always in control:

  • You can opt out of calls at any time, either during the call, by emailing dataprotection@wealthwiseconnect.co.uk, or in writing to our postal address.

  • If you opt out, we will stop contacting you and keep your details on a suppression list to make sure you are not called again.

We rely on legitimate interests for this initial follow-up call, as it is a natural extension of the service you requested. If you agree to an introduction, we will share your details with an adviser only on the basis of your consent, which we record at the time you provide it.

Wealthwiseconnect.co.uk is owned and operated by Wealthwise Connect Ltd (“we”, “us”). We are a financial information and introducer service. We are not authorised to provide financial advice. Our role is to provide general information and, if you agree, introduce you to FCA-regulated professionals who can provide regulated advice.

People who send an enquiry or request a brochure

If you request a brochure, complete an enquiry form, or choose to connect with a Professional via our website:

  • You provide us with your name, contact details, and (optionally) broad areas of interest.

  • We store this information securely.

  • Our purpose is to connect you with a suitable Professional. This is the service we provide and, when you submit an enquiry, we consider that we have a contractual obligation to provide this service.

If your chosen Professional is unavailable, we will try to match you with another local Professional who meets your criteria. If a Professional wishes to respond, we pass your enquiry details to them. Your information is not shared with other third parties without your agreement.

If we cannot find a match through our usual process, Wealthwise Connect Ltd or a trusted partner may contact you to validate or enhance your initial enquiry. This is to help complete your enquiry and offer another opportunity to be matched to a Professional.

If you email or call us, we collect and process your personal information to:

  • Improve our service through feedback.

How we store and protect your information

  • Information you provide via our website is encrypted during transmission.

  • We comply with all UK Data Protection legislation to ensure your data is kept secure and processed lawfully.
